Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant

Our National Law Firm located in downtown Calgary requires an experienced, motivated and eager Real Estate Legal Assistant to join its thriving team immediately. As the ideal candidate, you possess two (2) to four (4) years current commercial real estate legal experience; be highly detail oriented; have the ability to prioritize and organize workflow; and be capable of effectively dealing with changing priorities. We are seeking a legal assistant with excellent technical, organizational, administrative and communication skills that will be mandatory for this opportunity. Critical to your success in this role is the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities for this position will include:
· Drafting documents
· Setting up appointments with clients for signing of documents
· Client communication; handling questions/concerns
· Registration and/or discharge of documents at Land Titles
Drafting mortgage documents and dealing with banks as required.
