Job Summary: The Art Director is primarily responsible to support the Creative Director in leading cross-disciplinary development and execution of all creative strategies. The Art Director will represent and communicate Suitcase Interactive's creative and business philosophy, and consistently produce high quality, creative work.

· Communicate creative and business philosophies, methodologies and capabilities to current and potential clients.
· Communicate the above to the business units and service lines within the company.
· Develop and execute account growth strategies with the account team members to meet account P&L goals set by the account manager and executive sponsor.
· Translate creative ideas into visual representations.
· Ensure high quality and creative work is consistently delivered by the creative team.
· Suggest and recommend on the strongest creative deliverables.
· Support the Business Development team on new business opportunities.
· Generate moodboards and website concepts.
· Ensure consistency of company-wide brand.
· Contribute creative insights.
· Stay current in design trends and communicate those to the team.
· Present and be prepared to defend concepts to both internal staff and clients.
· Assist Project Manager in assigning tasks and resources.
· Meet deadlines.

Technical Proficiencies:
· Expert in Graphic Design software

Qualifications

Required:
· Post secondary degree/certificate in graphic design or visual arts
· 4+ years of experience in related capacity
· Proven track record in successful design concepts
· Understanding of information architecture, and usability
· Current knowledge of design trends
· Strong presentation skills
· Strong leadership ability
· Strong communication skills
· Strong interpersonal/relationship skills
