Senior Benefits Consultant - Montreal
The Senior Benefits Consultant will be instrumental in growing Consulting business in the Quebec market while leading the team and delivering on client projects. This role will be located in Montreal and will involve leading and growing a small team of consultants locally, with the support and resources of broader Canadian Consulting operations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead consultant for Benefit / health strategy, plan design, pricing strategy, vendor selection and ongoing plan management
Provide client leadership on targeted clients/prospects
Exhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions.
Leads/facilitate complex client meetings to measurable results
Work closely with our Sales & Accounts team and other national resources to develop new business in Montreal
Provide technical and consulting coaching to other team members
Act as strategic resource for Benefit consultants
Exhibit thought leadership
Participate in industry trade groups and event and present to different business groups

Qualifications

University degree and 10 years of direct experience in a consulting/insurance environment.
Significant experience with the Montreal HR / benefits community.
Excitement in playing an influential role in growing and expanding both existing and new clients in the market.
Exceptional project management skills.
Experience in managing and growing client relationships.
Comfortable being part of a team involved in new business opportunities.
Highly organized self-starter who works well independently and within a team.
Strong technical expertise and the ability to remain current with respect to industry trends.
Comfortable working in a small office.
Detail and results oriented.
Ability to act as an effective mentor and coach for practice members.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft office and ability to learn new programs quickly.
Must be fluently bilingual (English/French).
