RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client… a leading financial services employer in Bermuda is looking for a Trust Officer to join its busy international team.
Reporting to VP or AVP level, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relations, authorising the Trust Company on various transactions, ensuring that all actions adhere to relevant policies and legislation.
This will entail interpreting trust deeds and documents, delegating as appropriate to other staff, and managing other professionals, as resolving complex issues.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have a university degree with 7 years’ relevant experience in trusts, law, accountancy, investments or banking
You must possess either the STEP designation or an equivalent professional qualification
You must have a thorough knowledge of trusts, relevant legislation and an ability to manage other staff
You must also be proficient in MS Office, be able to multi-task, and have superior client service and communication skills with a strong work ethic
