Department Overview:
The Enterprise Architecture group is leading the development of a Centre of Excellence in support of Enterprise Content Management including Document Management and Business Process Management.
The Bank has recently invested in PegaRules as its standard Business Process Management technology, and the effective deployment of this technology across multiple concurrent projects is being coordinated by the evolving Centre of Excellence.
Activities that the centre needs to undertake include:
• Establishment of Enterprise Standards
• Definition, and implementation of a highly available, low-cost infrastructure stack that will host the line-of-business solutions for the enterprise
• Identification of, design, and development of application components deemed common to more than one projects
• Creation and management of an overarching plan reflecting the milestones and needs of each line-of-business project (ranging in number from 3 to 8)
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the activities of the centre of excellence as it evolves. This will require considerable involvement with infrastructure teams (engineering, operations), architecture, and dependent project teams (including both business and technology functions) Maintaining an overarching view of all BPM-related development in the enterprise will be key to ensuring successful execution of the centre.
Travel to other Canadian locations including Toronto, Scarborough, and London may be required (no more than 4 days per month).
Job Description:
This Senior Project Manager/Program Manager will be executing the Centre of Excellence and create a consolidated project plan and timeline within the three to eight projects. This individual will be working with an infrastructure team leading the project activities within the Center of Excellence. This individual will also be working with a number of areas ranging from business areas (e.g. Visa, Online Channels, etc.), CT TS, ITS, and Architecture. As a senior candidate, he/she needs to have workflow experience and worked with content management. It would be an asset if the individual has worked as a senior manager with infrastructure and software development companies.
