Job Overview:
This mid-level Project Manager will be working with the Business Banking Program. This candidate would have at least five (5) years experience as PM and their experience include creating status report, manage project plans and has some banking experience. It would be nice to have a PMP designation but not a mandatory requirement. This candidate would be working in Mississauga and will be working in downtown Toronto one to two days a week.
Manage day to day project activities of medium complexity or units/phases of a larger complex project. Plan, execute, control and close out project against defined scope and budget. Utilize accepted standards and procedures. Maintain team relationships and team coaching and development. Manage stakeholder expectations. Manage risk and ensure compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of several medium complexity projects.
Key accountabilities are:
• Works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
• Manages activities of medium complexity projects.
• Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
• Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure to meet schedules.
• Management of small to large projects (ranging in size from $400K to $3M), including multiple internal applications and external vendors.
• Estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, budget, risk and resources.
• Accountability for project budget and time lines.
Requirements:

Skills:
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects.
• 5 years experience in Full life cycle development, Leadership
• 5 years experience with proven project methodology tools
• 5 years experience with Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio
• PMP designation an asset
