An exciting opportunity exists to join the CT Technology Solutions team as an IT Specialist. The CT TS Business Banking team is responsible for supporting and enhancing a number of distributed and host based Commercial and Cash Management Systems such as Apex, CreditLink-Business, CARMA-Sales, CARMA-Credit, and Consolidated Billing.
Job Overview:
• Seeking a Technical Architect that is ideally coming from the financial sector, with cash management and commercial banking experience
Responsibilities:
• Consult on all aspects of research, analysis, design, and development of technical solutions including work effort and cost estimation
• Serve as a consultant across multiple applications leveraging your extensive experience to assist other team members in system research, analysis, and problem resolution
• Provide subject matter expertise in distributed development standards and methodologies
• Participate in technical recommendations and decision making with other technical teams and business partners
• Participate in technical evaluations of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products and system integration vendors
• Employing a strategic approach in order to identify and influence improvements through the use of technologies that are new to the Bank
• Independently analyze industry trends and directions, as well as business requirements. (i.e. Bridge the gap between business and technical solutions
• Recommend leading edge solutions to fit the business need for multiple business systems/deliveries
• Provide technical expertise in conjunction with management in:
• Identifying Gaps
• Providing estimates
• Recommending solutions
Qualifications/Skills:
• Experience in financial services/banking (i.e. retail lending, fixed income trading etc...)
• Experience in QA and testing
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong presentation and communications skills
• Collaborative team building skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
Qualifications:
• Business Development - 6+ Years

• Technology Implementation - 6+ Years
