Senior Consultant opening
The Position
A Senior Consultant works as part of a team focused on the development, installation, integration, testing and maintenance of our business software applications. Senior Consultants have a strong desire for continuous learning and growth of technical and functional skills and great interpersonal skills. Since the majority of the work is done on client site, the role involves extensive user interaction and requires excellent problem solving skills. As a Senior Consultant, you will be expected to:
• Develop new software applications
• Participate in the testing, maintenance, and enhancement of Quorum’s existing software applications
• Work closely with our development center to integrate release software into client environments
• Lead small teams on established activities or as a sub part of larger projects
• Work effectively in direct communications with client and/or internal resources to define requirements, confirm solution designs and competently explain the end product
• Effectively train and develop other Quorum resources
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals that meet the following base qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills and good job stability
• Bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or related disciplines
• 2-7 years related experience in a consulting and/or software development
• Proficiency in using Microsoft technologies, specifically C#, C++, Oracle, SQL Server, Crystal, and Access
• Must be permanent resident and not require any type of work sponsorship
• MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL UP TO 100%
• Aspiration or work experience in the Oil and Gas industry
• Long-term goals of project management and system building
• Motivation to take on more responsibility, entrepreneurial skills, and an interest to help grow and develop client relationships
