As an independent sales representative our services and support are at your disposal to help grow your business.
The primary function of Tempus Sales Representative is to secure and develop new accounts in your assigned Region where Tempus can position its services and capabilities in order to assist the customer with supply chain solutions that meet their needs.
This includes generating sales quotations and handling customer inquiries, cold and warm calls for new accounts, direct mail programs and customer events. Tempus will provide sufficient resources and training to assist you in becoming technically knowledgeable in our various product and service offerings. You will be rewarded for achieving quantitative sales goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include but would not be limited to:
*Identifying customer requirements and recommending solutions in all facets of our business.
*Manage day-to-day business, and provide outstanding customer service.
*Develop new customers - referrals, outbound calling, etc.
*Provide post-sales service: follow through on orders/expedite orders/troubleshoot.
*Build and maintain customer/vendor relationships.
Critical to your success in the role will be your ability to prospect new business and to develop, maintain and manage strong and lasting relationships with customers.
This position is commission-based pay structure with additional incentives.
Requirements:
Reporting directly to the Account Executive, Canada office (located in Edmonton, AB), the successful candidate will possess:
*Previous sales experience would be an asset but is not essential. Motivation and a strong workout ethic will serve you well in this position and all applicants are welcome.

*Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, with strong organizational skills.
*Ability to work independently with high level of flexibility and adaptability.
*Computer skills including Windows business application software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
