A rapidly growing marketing company in Waterdown is looking for a Freelance Marketing Coordinator to "jump in" and help with various ongoing marketing programs and campaigns.

This position is on a freelance basis, 8 to 40 hours per week with the opportunity to grow into a more permanent position as our company grows.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work from their home but will need to be flexible and ready to come into the office and/or attend client meetings as needed. This position is a great opportunity for someone starting out in the industry that wants to learn and be exposed to various areas of marketing and grow with us as we expand. It may also suit an individual with experience that is looking for part time hours and a flexible work environment.

MUST HAVES
The successful candidate must have the following....

• A positive attitude and a great sense of humour
• Very organized and detail oriented
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Print production knowledge
• At least 2 years experience in marketing/advertising
• Advanced juggling skills (tasks...not objects)
• Your own transportation
• Comfortable working on a freelance basis


NICE TO HAVES
Not mandatory would help with the day-to-day...

• Basic Desktop Publishing skills (Quark, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Data management/analysis
• Client services (direct contact with clients)
• Basic copywriting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
• Experience in direct marketing

Compensation will depend on experience.
