COMPANY PROFILE
Design Maintenance Systems Inc. is an established company with strong domestic
and international interests. We need a team player to participate in our company's
development of new products for the Plant Asset Management and Maintenance marketplace.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
You will develop, implement and maintain quality policies and procedures related to
software design, functional testing, and QA of our award-winning MAINTelligence suite
of systems. Other tasks include:
- In conjunction with development, create test plans to carry out product testing.
- Document test results & analyze with members of the development team.
- Coordinate with Engineering/Support to create test scenarios for applications.
- Deployment testing.
- Analyze software problems, and identify steps to reproduce software bugs.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with internal staff and preferred customers.
- Manage test computers.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening.
- Ability to understand system requirements.
- Enthusiastic, excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems. Knowledge of other systems such as Netware, Citrix, Linux… an asset.
- Experienced with documentation, test case development and familiar with Bug/Defect/Error Tracking.
- Familiarity with software development practices and database applications. Knowledge of SQL an asset.
