As an intermediate .NET Software Engineer, you will work in a project team to design an online application that serves thousands of users every minute. The development focus is on developing ASP.NET applications using cutting edge technologies including C#, MS Ajax and Microsoft SQL Server. Position Duties & Responsibilities
• Design and develop code for client-side and server-side application components that is reusable and easy to maintain and troubleshoot
• Deliver quality code by applying solid and sound designing solutions and performing unit-tests
• Participate in integration/testing, problem troubleshooting and resolution
• Participate in estimating project timelines and resources
• Participate in review of peers’ work product, designs and code
• Identify technical, schedule, and other project risk and provide feedback
• Communicate with Quality Assurance team members to ensure issues get resolved quickly and efficiently
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering
• 2-3 years of related experience as a Software Engineer in production of commercial software, developing web-based products
• 2+ years of C# programming
• Must have solid development experience with C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, Ajax
• Experience with C++ and JQuery is an asset, as well as development experience for mobile applications
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple concurrent assignments
• Able to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge
• Strong analytic skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal / no supervision and maintain focus on the quality of code
• Good verbal and written communication skills required as well as strong collaboration skills working in a fast paced team environment
