In this critical role in the Product Management organization, reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, you will support the product management for one or more members of Move’s portfolio of web sites. You will drive the definition of the site’s value proposition to consumers, real estate professionals, advertisers and partners, work with multiple teams across multiple geographies, and spend time directly with our end-customer real estate professionals, advertisers and strategic partners to better incorporate their goals into your web site experiences.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
• Establish and prioritize end-user content, features, decision-support functionality and search capabilities by collaborating with user experience and design, product development and end-user support.
• Establish and prioritize diverse advertising product opportunities, placements and targeting capabilities by collaborating with sales, advertising operations, marketing and business development.
• Balance media advertising reach and frequency objectives with consumer experience and engagement goals
• Track and drive improvement to key KPIs to monitor and evaluate success of user engagement, ad placements, and business development deals.
• Build, maintain, drive and communicate a strategic and a tactical product roadmap for your site(s).
• Gather and analyze business and product requirements that include operations, engineering, finance, legal, and marketing inputs.
• Write and maintain functional requirements documentation for new product features and branded media product enhancements.
• Write and maintain operational requirements documentation for existing and new web sites that establishes all business processes involved in the pre-sale, sale, fulfillment, delivery and reporting for our various advertising products.
Qualifications:
• Direct experience in online advertising and/or lead generation space, preferably in product development, sales, marketing or brand management
• Ability to clearly articulate advertiser needs and demands related to online advertising web sites such as display, sponsorships, integrations, and lead generation. Ability to translate marketing objectives into online product solutions. Knowledge of search engine platforms and search-related business models a plus.
• Written and verbal communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to present effectively in large groups, to senior management and to prospective or current advertisers or strategic partners.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting consumer and customer insights and translating qualitative and quantitative data into desirable product features and capabilities
• Experience leading or working within virtual, cross-functional teams formed to deliver a product objective
• Bachelor's degree required, Graduate degree desired.
• 4-5 years media or online product management or development experience required with a proven track record of successful product maturity and revenue growth. Prior experience in a product management or development capacity in real estate and related fields (banking/mortgage, insurance, brokerage) or advertising industries a plus.
