Veolia Environmental Services, Operator of the Metro Vancouver Waste to Energy Facility located in Burnaby, British Columbia, has an immediate opening for a professional, self starting Industrial
Instrument/Electrical Technician.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in performance and safety as well as superior maintenance skills in medium to heavy sized industry.
You are preferably a dual ticketed individual, with experience in automated control, including DCS systems, general instrumentation, industrial electrical installation and maintenance, and a strong track record in trouble shooting. Electrical journeyman ticketed with instrumentation experience may be considered.
We offer an attractive benefits and compensation package, including a 36 hour work week on a day shift rotation. Current hourly wage rate is $37.79/hr, with a premium of $203.15 each pay period.
All candidates for these positions must be team oriented with the drive and motivation to positively contribute to our long term success. Superior oral and written communication skills are required.
