Position Summary:
VMC Group in Oakville, Canada is looking for a highly creative and motivated 3D Exhibit Designer to help expand our creative team. This position will have a primary focus on 3D Design providing solutions for custom, hybrid, system and portable exhibit solution. You must be interested in thriving within a fast-paced, creative environment that demonstrates tremendous creative growth potential.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Support and execute all assigned projects as directed by the Creative Director
• Transform client information into effective and on-budget design
• Communicate your design solutions with project management, logistics and production departments
• Present designs clearly and effectively to internal team and client
• Actively participate in internal brainstorming sessions with creative ideas and resources
• Be a team player and be a creative injector to all design staff
• Motivate and cultivate growth among the design team
• Assist in establishing timeline and critical dates on assigned projects
• Adhere to timeline and work independently on assigned projects
• Produce all relevant presentation materials, including sketches, renderings, mood and sample board, material and furniture selections, models and fly-throughs as needed
• Provide thorough information packages to estimating, including all drawing specifications
• Note taking and provide meeting summaries

Skills Required:
• Exceptional skills in 3D studio max, AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Good sketching and colouring ability
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge in Adobe Premiere and Flash is a plus

• Creative Director
