CHIEF STEWARD / CAMP BOSS - The Chief Steward supervises the work activity of the entire Catering Department to include carrying out objectives established by the Rig Manager, Shore base Superintendent and Barge Master. Essential functions include planning, scheduling, problem solving, conducting inspections and operational meetings, interacting with other department heads and communicating direction to the Night Cook and other key members of the Catering Department. The ultimate goal of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of the quarters and provide safe quality food preparation on a daily and ongoing basis with an emphasis on cost control. Eligible candidates should have a minimum of one to two years experience working as a Night Cook or two years prior industry related experience as a Cook / Steward and MUST have valid Offshore Certifications such as BST, H2S Alive, WHMIS and Standard First Aid. |
