| Preferably a kitchen job as a cook in a hotel or fine dining restaurant. I may not have that much experience as a professional, but I am not a stranger to the hearth since I've been home-trained by my mother since I was 8. In addition, I have had intensive training in the hot kitchen, grilling, frying and saute station. I started out as a prep cook for my apprenticeship, was employed as a line cook and additional responsibilities included managing par stock inventory, menu planning, purchasing and production. My short term of employ was due to circumstances beyond my control. I am also trained in cake and bread-making, however, pastry-making is still a work in progress. I speak and write English fluently, Filipino is my second language and Ilocano my third. I am a quick learner, very much willing to be trained and am eager to perform the task that is assigned to me. I am capable of muti-tasking, have a self-imposed discipline for time management and can manage the stress well enough. | |
