It is my objective to find a challenging position in my field of Recruitment/ Staffing Specialist, with an opportunity to grow while expanding my skills and expertise, in the Greater Vancouver area. This would allow me to move back to Vancouver and assist in caring for aging family members. My more than 20 years of experience in recruiting, business development, management, sales, troubleshooting and problem resolution, has given me a solid background with strong people skills. My proven track record of success in locating, identifying and recruiting top talent, was most recently proven as the only active recruiter for a firm, who specialize in IM/IT consulting, ranging from project management and business analysis through to application development and support. While employed with this Victoria based technology solutions provider I was surprised when I was shown that I had increased the number of new pre-qualified recruits by over 550% in a two-year period. During my tenure as Dean of an I.T. college, I created and implemented a successful business plan that resulted in increasing recruitment and subsequent enrollment by over 500% within 3 months. All five campuses then adopted this business plan, across Canada. A dynamic, results focused, recruiting professional with commitment to client service and creative recruitment, I’m comfortable as a leader, team member and always open to new ideas and techniques. I firmly believe that in today’s marketplace we can no longer be passive participants in recruiting but rather must take on a more aggressive and active role.
