I am looking for a human resource position either in health care, mining, retail, manufacturing or the oil and gas industry. I would also consider other areas. I have a unique combination of work experience as a human resources professional in industrial and health care unionized work environments. I have eleven years of labour and employee relations consulting experience. Eight years of staff recruitment experience. I have administered several collective agreements. Expertise through experience in the areas of recruitment including the development of job descriptions, job advertisements, orientation packages and letters of offer, candidate screening, conducting of interviews and orientation. Developed and coordinated employee performance management programs. Provided employee and labour relations support and advice to managers to assist them in the handling of employee issues such as absenteeism, performance, disability management, disciplinary matters, grievances and terminations. Developed and revised human resource policies, procedures and programs. Coordinated training programs for employees. Responsible for all aspects of an occupation health and safety program including WCB reporting and claims management.
