Raw Material inspection & follow-up drawings as per structural codes & standards. Ø Inspection of fit-up at in process stage and final stage as per structural drawings & make a Cutting Plan for minimize the Scrap. Ø Check qualified welder is deployed. Ø Check specified WPS is used & also check preheat according to WPS. Ø Co-ordination with material department to arrange the required material as per drawing. Ø Co-ordination with subordinate engineers & contractor supervisors for Fabrication activities. Ø Planning & scheduling of day to day activities, fabrication and drawing. Ø Co-ordination with Design and Quality Control department to improve quality. Ø Co-ordination with site engineer, supervisors for successfully erection. Ø Checking of Contractor’s running bill. Ø Ensure safe work handling and scheduled safety instruction. Ø Co-ordination with maintenance department for kept m/c in working condition. Ø Working as an engineer in CNC and GPM machine shop. Ø Job allocation and follow up the priorities in CNC & GPM machine shop. Ø Coordination with plant engineering maintenance department for plant jobs Ø Vendor development. Ø Supervising manpower around 35 at a time. Ø Follow up the 5’s’ activities & kaizen. Ø Working with SAP (system application product).
