Originally from a shipbuilding background, I am interested in obtaining a position in Design Engineering. I have sixteen years professional experience in the mechanical design environment and a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering. My background includes: ·Strong knowledge of engineering design principals and methods necessary to adequately dimension and detail complete design concepts. ·Advanced technical knowledge and ability to design, estimate and produce CAD drawings and bills of material. ·Experience in 3D modeling. ·Designing and developing general arrangement, layout and equipment installation drawings for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. ·A thorough knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic components and electrical systems. ·Experience with Classification Society Rules and regulations (L.R.S., G.L., D.N.V., B.V.) and Statutory Regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL). ·Supervising the installation, testing and repair of marine equipment. In addition, I can work well within tight deadlines, I am detail oriented and committed to doing an excellent job.
