I have a Bachelor of Science degree and I have been employed in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry in Winnipeg for the last 12 years and have more than 20 years experience in both clinical and basic research laboratories. During the past 12 years I have been responsible for developing and performing bioassays, writing/revising Standard Operating Procedures, developing inventory and tracking systems for cell lines and clinical supplies. In addition, in the last 4 years my responsibilities have focused on the management of the clinical supply chain including the preparation of supply chain strategies and associated budgets for multiple clinical trials as well as preparation of SR&ED project descriptions. I also am knowledgeable with respect to the GxPs, strong project management skills and am able to multi-task and prioritize work in order to meet timelines. I have a strong drive to meet corporate, departmental and personal goals as well as being highly motivated to develop new skills as required. My excellent verbal and written skills enable me to effectively communicate with the project team and external organizations. I have excellent interpersonal skills enabling me to liaise with multiple departments including Clinical Development, Manufacturing, Quality as well as external vendors and CROs. I am also proficient with productivity software applications such as Microsoft Office, MS Project and Visio.
