My directorship of over 530 primary health care centers in the Jordanian Ministry of Health has given me strong leadership experience in gaining supporters both from the public as well as staff members. My work as a part time consultant for UNICEF projects in Jordan has given me extensive knowledge in creating training programs and working with pharmaceuticals. One of my three published books was on early childhood development and was published by UNICEF and my other two published books are geared towards educational on asthma. The training and consulting experience I gained through GLAXO and RAM during my consultancies for the past 14 years has provided me with excellent communication and training skills. At all times I worked directly with the marketing departments to ensure all medical representatives and training sessions were following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) rules. Finally, my own private practice as an Internal Medicine Specialist in Jordan has given me direct patient interaction and allowed me an excellent outlet for spreading my knowledge in public health to the general public and in gaining direct feedback from patients to better serve the community.
