I am looking for a job as a medical transcriptionist/medical editor. I have been working in this medical field for five years already transcribing and editing for clients in the United States, office based. I have huge experience in interpreting, transcribing, and editing dictations by physicians and/or other healthcare professionals regarding patient's assessment, work-up, therapeutic procedures, diagnosis, etc. I have great typing skills, 65 wpm, and deep knowledge of medical terminologies, anatomy, physiology, and various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibilities. Ability to work and communicate in a positive and cooperative manner with staff, co-workers, and other healthcare personnel. I have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work under pressure with minimal to no supervision. Fluent in English and Filipino and can understand diverse accents. Computer literate.
