Healthcare manager, Primary care physician. Main Duties and Responsibilities, 1- Examining the patient and taking histories order Lab investigation X-rays and other diagnostic procedures, and consultation with other medical doctors to evaluate patients physical and mental health. 2- Performing daily round to the patients admitted in the ward with the consultant and specialist. 3- Follow up of the patient in medical department. 4- Clinical examination and management of the patients referred from other department. 5- Examining the patients in out patient department and prescribing the treatment. 6- Providing emergency care treatment in ER. 7- Also providing acute care management. 8- Providing specific advice to the patients and their families on health care, awareness, and their personal hygiene, disease, and other major disaster, illness prevention. 9- Co-ordinate in primary patient care. 10- Sharing in code blue and CPR policy. 11 As a resident of Nephrology he conduct the examination of the patient before the start of dialysis and during the session for any acute emergency,complication,and its urgent treatment. 12- Prescribe medicine to the patient according to their need. 13- Responsible for the management of new patient suffering from acute or chronic renal disease reporting to ER. 14- Responsible to apply subclavian catheter or other minor surgical procedures required in nephrology. 15- Choose suitable patient on continuous haemodialysis for renal transplantation. 16- Also responsible for any consultation from other department. 17- Also responsible to transfer the patient to any specialties according to immediate need of patient. 18- Provide the guideline to the dialysis patient and their families on wide range of health lifestyle issues.
