I have recently completed two years at Mark’s Work Wearhouse as a Merchandise/Distribuition Analyst for the outerwear and footwear businesses. During these two years, I completed a successful implementation project of a new MRP system (Material Resource Planning), and acted as a consultant to two senior buyers (i.e. regarding markdowns, new trends, forecasts, open-to-buy, ending inventory, etc.). I also performed all domestic and foreign distribution of goods to approximately 400 stores country wide. Over the past 7 years, I have involved myself in several successful entrepreneurial projects/contracts where I gained the acumen to work in an array of different industries/settings. Some of these undertakings included running a seasonal painting business where I would hire sub-contractors to complete contract details within budget and time parameters, managing a crew of web designers, and creating a repair process of fire and gas detection systems for Spartan Controls Ltd. My working background has given me an entrepreneurial work ethic, strong communication skills, analytical and problem solving capabilities, and the ability to adapt within any situation.
