• Routine instrument job like replacement of indicating bulbs, Fuses, relays, timers, contactor, Manual Circuit Breaker (MCB), Fuse basis, Battery, Terminal Blocks, pressure gauge, Level gauge, Temperature gauge, Air filters, PVC tube, Thermocouple, Various types of Switches. • Trouble shooting various problems related to instrument and Control systems, using Electrical Wiring Drawing and Manuals. • Repairing of different types of Electronic cards. • Rebooting of Microprocessor based instrument and systems like programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and SCADA System and various stand alone systems. • To remove and provide the Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical connections, Power cord, SOV, Solenoid coils, Air Regulator, Air Filters, Control Valves, and Various types of Switches. • Loop checking and connections tightening. • Parameter checking and setting of different type of and Electrical instruments. • Alignment of various types of instruments. • Dressing of cables, wires. • Tightening of cables glands, instrument covers, junction box cover and various instrument mountings. • Protection of instruments and panel from process leakages, surrounding atmosphere and weather. • Cleaning of various types of Instruments, Sensors, Electrodes, Panels, Junction boxes and house keeping of the instrument workshop. • Prepare calibration and service report as per ISO requirement. • Involvement in various developments activities (related to instrument) and small modification in the existing system for improving the reliability. • He keeps records of Capital and Consumable stocks. • He can work on computer very well.
