I have been developing digital signal processing schemes for wireless systems such as WiMAX and LTE. My major focus is the channel coding technique and design of Convolution Turbo decoder and tail-biting Viterbi decoder. As a standard procedure first, I designed system models for the decoders (using C++\Matlab). Then, I developed VHDL code and self-checking testbenches with test scenarios. Finally, I had to address ASIC and FPGA synthesis issues that included RLOC technique. Apart from decoders I have participated in WiMAX system integration. Prior to this, I worked as a Research Assistant and Digital Designer at University of Alberta, HCDC lab in Edmonton where I participated in the development of LDPC decoding schemes. I completed my Master of Science from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. My graduate research was on 256-QAM cable modem with carrier recovery. The design included RTL implementation of multi-rate filters and CORDIC algorithm. I am both a Canadian and a Lithuanian (European Union) citizen and open to relocation.
