I am looking for a job in education or other area of human resource development. I have worked in the field of education for most of my adult life. I was a teacher for more than 20 years and presently work as a Guidance officer with the Ministry of Education, attached to Secondary Schools in Port-of-Spain. I have also taught Psychology courses (part time) to students working towards an associate degree at a community college. In addition to a Diploma in Teaching, I hold a B.Sc Degree in Psychology and a M.sc Degree in Sociology from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad where I live at present. I have applied for Permanent Residency in Canada in the Skilled Worker Class and my son is presently enrolled as a student of St Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. I have experience in journalism and presently write a column on Parenting in a weekly publication. I also do counselling and conduct workshops for young and older adults in the wider community. My goal is to be fully qualified as a practitioner in the field in Psychology.
