I am a South African citizen, currently based in Italy, determined to relocate to Canada for improving my working status.I am registered with Migration Expert Canada and I have passed the Skilled Worker (Federal Program) visa Eligibility Assessment, scoring 83. My most recent job is in the Education sector (university) as a lecturer in Economics. I am looking for a job in the education sector and also in the world of banking, consulting, economic research and financial analysis. I have a sound knowledge of the theory and application in economics and finance. Over the years, I have developed strong analytical, research and knowledge acquisition skills. I can easily carry out research that goes into the financial analysis, prepare evaluation reports, consolidate and present research findings at conferences and meetings. Thanks to my current appointment as a lecturer, I have developed excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as supervision skills over my students and over a team of honours students working as my assistants. I am very comfortable working both as an individual and as part of a team. I am very good at working with excel spreadsheets as this is the main tool I use for capturing marks and data collected for my research projects. I am a very fast learner and my familiarity with IT can be a plus in gaining experience with any programmes and software. I am very fluent in English and I am very good at French and Dutch. I have an intermediate knowledge of German and Italian.
