I am interested in a drilling engineering or related position. I am currently applying to universities in Canada to enroll in an MBA program for September 2008. I have over five years of oilfield experience as a logging general field engineer. I possess a BSc. in Physics and I completed my MSc. in Petroleum Engineering. My studies have included courses in Advanced Drilling and Production, Well Logging and Completions, Reservoir Engineering and Geology & Geophysics. I have also attended several Schlumberger MWD and LWD (Measurements while drilling, Logging while drilling) training seminars in Sugarland, Houston. I hold excellent communication skills as I constantly interacted with our clients and rig personnel to execute my job effectively. I have been on assignments in mostly East Venezuela and offshore Trinidad and possess excellent management skills, managing field crews as well as sitting in as field service manager in charge of over 40 employees. I also have strong technical, analytical, planning and organizational skills and I am proficient in Microsoft office and several other computer software applications. I am hard- working, determined and am able to function efficiently in high stress environments. I think I will be an asset to any company.
