| I am searching for a job as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Teacher. I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for 20 years now. I hold an MA and a Doctorate in Linguistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My main interests are Bilingualism, Second Language Acquisition, Distance Language Education, Metacognition in Educational Theory and Practice - the latter as a follow-up of my studies in foreign language learning. I have taken a specialization course at the Canadian Forces Language School in 2006, as part of a cooperation agreement between Canada and Brazil. I also have experience working with distance learning, especially with the Moodle platform for teaching English for introductory level students. | |
