working on Financial Systems system such as Oracle ERP, AIMS, BO, OFA, MS Office etc. Accrue for Crew Layover, Crew Simulator, Crew Catering & Overflying and Navigation on monthly basis in station set of books. Monitor the posting, accounting and reconciliation of the general ledger accounts relative to head office and outstations thus ensuring completeness to meet audit requirements. Liaises with the outstations to coordinate, support and resolve issues relating to accounting entries, payments, expenditures, banking, periodical accounts closing, and budget funding. Prepare monthly management reports to help line manager’s review and analyze the cost. Support the balance score card BSC approach by establishing key financial performance indicators KPI for the business. Ensure that these KPI are used to influence the decision-makers to continually improve the financial performance and productivity of the department. Review actual to budget/current estimate, understand variances, and initiate action required to ensure costs are contained and budgets used most effectively. Prepare or evaluate quarterly current estimates and reason out the variance. Financial Planning and Budgeting coordinate in the preparation and implementation of company's annual budget & business plan. Ensure the Business Plans issued are communicated and followed regularly, update the current estimates for DOC. Provide the cost centre holders with the monthly actual vs budget analysis and an actual trend analysis for their respective cost centers. Calculate and provide updated rates to the network planning to calculate route cost for current and proposed routes on different aircraft types
