To Whom It May Concern Attention: Human Resources Re: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist/Customer Service Rep. In regard to the above position, please find enclosed my detailed personal resume. I am seeking permanent, full time employment where I can utilize my skills and experience. Although I have not worked full-time in the last couple of years, I have kept my skills up; I have been tested with the University of BC this spring in MSWord and Excel (testing results were intermediate in both) and acquired 70 wpm on their typing test. I also obtained a typing certificate from Platinum Personnel Agency, Kelowna this spring (typing results were 70 wpm) and was employed with them in the fall in a temp job. I possess several years experience working in a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant capacity. As a Receptionist, I handled a large volume of incoming calls on a variety of switchboards (3- 25 incoming lines) and always dealt professionally and positively with the general public. As an Administrative Assistant, I typed letters, minutes, memos, tenders, financial statistics and proposals. I also arranged meetings and travel arrangements for my supervisor and managers while employed with Great West Life Assurance Company. As a Customer Service Representative, I set up leasing appointments (new and renewal leases) for my supervisor, GM of Don Folk Chevrolet. I interacted with lease customers and GMAC, processing lease terminations as well verifying these leased vehicles had no damage, total mileage, sign off by the lease customer and scheduled transportation/tracking of these vehicles via Allied Transport to be returned to General Motors. As a Data Entry Clerk, my experience consists of entering parts inventory into SOECS at AGT Distribution Centre; broker’s data into Access at Great West Life Assurance Company and used and new car sales data into Maximizer at Don Folk Chevrolet.
