I am relocating to Nanaimo, BC by April 6, 2009. I am a Canadian Citizen that uses to live in the Surrey-White rock, BC area. I have been living in San Antonio, Texas for the past three years. While living here, I took a Nurse Aide and CPR course at Texas Careers Institute and after finishing my studies and practicum I worked at Silver Tree Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre as a Resident Care Attendant and lately I have been working at North Central Baptist Hospital as a Patient Care Technician.
The skills I obtained while working at the hospital and nursing home are:
• Helping residents with D.L.A.
• Taking Vital Signs
• Draining Foley and Colostomy bags
• Draining JP and Hemo-vac containers
• Helping nurses with patient/
resident care
• Data entry of all the above activities
