Their new initiatives require professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career growth. As such, we are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Development, your key tasks include:

     Develop core services to upload/download, store, stream, transform and adapt all video content;
     Directly input into the user experience to achieve high reliability / scalability / volume and low latency;
     Write simple, readable, testable, quality code;
     Directly participate and impact the technology and development process;
     Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

    Required Skills

     5+ years of experience as a backend Java Developer (Java/J2EE);
     Proficient in backend technologies (e.g. Spring, Spring boot, JSON, XML, REST, AspectJ);
     Experience in java design patterns;
     Knowledge of ORM systems (e.g. JPA/Hibernate);
     Experience with NoSQL systems (e.g. Aws DynamoDB, Cassandra);
     Experience in SQL queries and query optimizations;
     Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skill using tools (e.g. jProfiler, VisualVM);
     Ability to build JUnit tests and Integration test that covers the business functionality;
     Ability to drive a project from inception to completion;
     Enthusiasm to influence product vision;
     Self-motivated with strong decision-making & problem-solving skills;
     Passion for designing high scalability & high-performance solutions;
     Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growing company;
     Strong communication skills in English;
     Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
