    Thanks to a growing company, we’re looking for a new Logistics Supervisor Transportation to join our team.

    Logistics Supervisor Transportation

    Duties
    • Your primary goal is to manage a team of junior dispatchers.
    • Coordinate and track all trucking shipments to their North American destinations. To be successful, you will bring extensive knowledge and understanding of the trucking industry, its regulations, as well as Canadian and American geography.
    • Deals with client concerns and offer solutions
    • Ensure a high degree of customer service and to ensure regular updates to clients on their shipments
    • Deal with Driver concerns and relate concerns to senior management.
    • Ensuring customer orders are generated in a timely manner in the ERP System and that customer information is updated to maintain a high level of service.
    • Creating optimized routes for trucks in the Raffles Transportation Group and sent to the on-board truck computer system.
    • Supporting our Customer Service Team with meeting special service requests.
    • Assisting supervisors with fleet operations information and planning.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    • This position calls for a problem solver who is highly detail-oriented and loves a challenge. You’re a great multi-tasker, and you're agile and adaptable - you can put out fires on the fly, and work to foresee and prevent future problems.
    • You also have an analytical and investigative personality. If something goes wrong, you stop at nothing to figure out why, and then ensure that it never happens again. You’re a great communicator, with highly effective speaking and writing skills. You can easily prepare professionally written quotations, negotiate deals over the phone, and build strong relationships with customers, and coworkers alike.
    • You’re confident and tactful, able to comfortably deal with strong, diverse personalities and negotiate confrontation when necessary.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in a trucking company in a similar or junior dispatcher position
    • Experience coordinating shipments, coordinating import/export, and working with third party carriers to ship nationally and to the U.S.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Experience working in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
    • Knowledge of transportation, customs brokerage, and trucking operations/regulations
    • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma

    Remuneration:
    26.50 per hour 8 hours per day. 40 hours per week. Overtime Rate: 39.75/hr after 8 hours per day.

    Benefit:
    MSP reimbursement after 3 months of service
    15 days paid annual vacation
    Extended medical and dental benefit after 3 months of service
