  • Description

    • Co-ordinate the following administrative functions by other workers:
    a. Responding to incoming inquiries by distributing them to the relevant work unit
    b. Interviewing patients and registering them into our enterprise software
    c. Process direct guest payments and third party billings, such as Extended Health Care (EHC), WSIB, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) insurance claims. Follow up from initial file set up to closure
    d. Prepare custom order for patient supplies such as compression socks, orthotics, and rehab equipment
    e. On an as-needed basis, assist patients to effectively communicate with medical personnel
    f. Maintain adequate office and clinical supplies
    • Establish work schedules and office procedures
    • Resolve work-related problems including patients complaints on a timely and cost-effective manner
    • Train new hires in in office policies, procedures and use of computer applications and software
    • Maintain adequate office and clinical supplies
    • Ensure smooth operation of office and clinical equipment and machinery, and timely arrange for maintenance and repair work
    • Support all other work units on an as needed basis by performing their duties
    • Manage and monitor online marketing media such as Kijiji, Adwords, Yelp, and Google Maps to maximize exposure, and to follow up on online reviews to promote customer satisfaction.
    • Follow the therapist’s guidelines, assist patients in the selection of medical devices and products that fit their needs and budget.

    Wage: $25/hour at 34 to 44 hours / week
    Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent
