    Position: Operations Customer Service Representative
    Location: Woodbridge
    Salary: $48,000 to $55,000 per year
    Job Type: Permanent

    Our client, a manufacturing organization located in Woodbridge, is looking for an Operations Customer Service Representative to join their team on a permanent basis.

    In this role, you will be the primary point of contact with customers, distributors and Sales Representatives, and will be processing sales orders, resolving customer issues, reporting as required, tracking order demands, and communicating forecast variances.

    You will also be regularly going to the plant floor for verification, so comfort in a manufacturing setting and safety shoes during verifications are required.

    Primary Duties :

    - Process territory sales orders and order changes, including the price quotations, the preparation and follow-up of purchase orders, and the confirmation of shipment dates
    - Assist distributors with special order needs by consulting the detailing department on customer product information and blueprints
    - Use the manufacturing resource software to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels, and process purchase orders
    - Interface with the Production Control staff regarding order status and scheduled shipment dates
    - Keep customers informed of order status and shipment dates and expedite if required
    - Verify customer credit status with Accounting department and complete necessary paperwork to issue credit or debit
    - Interface with Marketing on forecast variances and monthly activity reports
    - Provide Sales Representatives and customers with informational materials such as sales brochures, catalogs, etc.
    - Perform other responsibilities as needed and assigned

    Requirements:

    - Secondary or postsecondary education
    - At least 3 years of experience in customer service or at an order desk in manufacturing or distribution
    - Excellent knowledge of ERP and EDI systems
    - Proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Word and Excel preferred) – required
    - Familiarity with manufacturing software applications – preferred
    - Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization – required
    - Knowledge of fountain beverage dispensing industry and equipment – preferred
    - Accurate typing and data entry skills – required
    - Strong organizational and problem solving skills – required
    - Familiarity with international shipping – an asset
    - Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing Systems – an asset
