    Opportunity:
    Reporting to the business leader and as a member of the senior leadership team, this critical role will work closely with Head Office and other subsidiaries to guide operational excellence. This role requires a transparent seasoned business professional with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to capitalize on the use of technical tools, a complementary value-added solution mindset and the ability to provide leadership during a business transformation.     Key Responsibilities:
    Foster collaboration, teamwork and alignment among staff, encouraging respect, employee engagement and promoting a culture of open-communication, innovation and problem-solving;
    Analyze, map, develop and implement operational practices, process and procedures, improving operational performance in support of the organization’s vision and mission;
    Play a significant role in establishing and executing the strategic plan;
    Adopt a long-term strategic view to achieve operational excellence by identifying and evaluating trends and options suited to the organization and recommending a course of action;
    Lead the use of data metrics to drive decision making on resourcing and work allocation to ensure cycle time standards are achieved;
    Continually identify areas for efficiency, productivity and improvement;
    Provide feedback between management and employees to develop awareness of quality and expectations for performance standards;
    Make recommendations to the business leader on appropriate staffing levels to achieve operational goals and objectives.

    Selection Criteria:
    University degree or diploma in business, operations or other relevant education;
    5 years+ operational leadership experience, preferably in a unionized environment;
    Track record of building exceptional teams and leading innovation;
    Experience leading a service organization or large and complex business unit;
    Collaborative leader who excels in building internal and external relationships;
    Ability to conceptualize, plan and execute both at a strategic and operational level;
    Exceptional process improvement skills and exposure to Lean methodologies, process automation tools, data analytics and other metrics as it relates to digital transformation;
    Critical-thinker with ability to identify opportunities and exercise strong judgement and decision-making;
    Strong communication skills and ability to deliver a message in a clear, constructive and effective way;
    Previous experience utilizing the Balanced Scorecard Method is a definite asset.
