    Position: Order Desk/Customer Service Representative
    Location: Woodbridge
    Salary: $48,000 to $55,000 per year
    Job Type: Permanent

    We are currently seeking a Customer Service/Order Desk Representative for a position based in Woodbridge/Vaughan.

    The Customer Service Representative reports directly to the Manager of Sales Administration, and acts as a primary contact for customers, distributors and sales representatives.

    Key responsibilities include pricing/quoting, entering orders, obtaining current order status information, expediting existing orders, and providing a high level of customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Enter or edit customer orders in the assigned timeframes and ensure orders are accurate, complete and on proper order forms before forwarding to the scheduling/detailing department
    - Assist Distributors with special order needs, consult the detailing department on custom product information and blueprints, and advise Distributors
    - Process the service center and ship orders
    - Communicate effectively with customers throughout the order process by following up on orders and keeping customers informed of order status and shipment dates
    - Respond to both external and internal customers’ needs and assist in the resolution of issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
    - Assist Distributors, Sales Representatives, Architects, and Contractors with technical information
    - Research and process back charges, no-charge orders, and sales credits and create remanufacture orders
    - Maintain accurate distributor files
    - Maintain communications with Sales Representatives regarding distributor issues, pricing, and discounts
    - Assist in the preparation of distributor visits

    Education and Experience:

    - Secondary or postsecondary education
    - At least 3 years of experience in customer service or at an order desk in manufacturing or distribution
    - Excellent knowledge of ERP and EDI systems
    - Bilingualism – an asset
