    Salary: From $60,000 to $65,000 per year

    Quantum has partnered with a client, a fast-growing manufacturing company, to hire a Full-Cycle Payroll and Benefits Administrator for their facility located in the Brampton/Vaughan surrounding area.

    In this stand-alone role, you will be responsible for processing the union and non-union, salaried, and hourly payroll and benefits administration for about 400 employees (3 payroll registers) in Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and British Columbia.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Prepare and administer payroll for all company employees, while auditing payroll processing reports for accuracy
    - Interact with the operation groups to ensure timely and accurate processing of daily time sheets
    - Process the biweekly payroll, ensuring that salaries and wages are paid accurately and in a timely fashion to all company employees
    - Set up new employees, maintain employee profiles updated, and process terminations in accordance with legislative and company requirements
    - Manage and ensure timely compliance of all deductions and remittances related to payroll (income tax, UIC, CPP, EHT, garnishments, etc.)
    - Ensure vacation accruals and activities are properly tracked and accounted for
    - Generate monthly payroll reports for accounting
    - Prepare the required employment forms such as the records of employment and year-end requirements, including T4s, T4As, RL-1s, T2200s, and Relevé 1 Summaries
    - Prepare monthly payroll accruals and payroll related reconciliations
    - Handle benefits and RRSP match pension programs
    - Review expense reports to ensure that all expenses claimed are in accordance with company policies

    Competencies and Qualifications:

    - 4+ years of stand-alone payroll experience
    - Experience with ADP Pay@Work – preferred
    - Experience with union and non-union payroll
    - Postsecondary education in a relevant discipline
    - Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) – preferred
    - Experience using a HRIS and a Time and Attendance Management System (Kronos) – an asset
    - Knowledge of audits, income tax forms, health benefits programs, sick pay, etc.
    - Ability to travel to local off-site location once a week – required
    - Proficiency in using MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced functions) – a must
    - Ability to investigate, analyze and resolve issues
