    Phased Array Ultrasonic Technicians
    Job Description
    Acuren is seeking six (6) Phased Array Ultrasonic Technicians for permanent full-time work throughout Western Canada. These roles involve utilizing Phased Array technology to detect discontinuities (defects) on objects under inspection.
    The start date for these roles is immediate. Work locations include industrial sites throughout Western Canada and will require travel. These positions are covered by the Quality Control Council of Canada (QCCC) Collective Agreement and will include a minimum of guarantee of 160 working hours per month. The hourly wage will range from $46.93/hour to $49.53 hour CDN, depending on CGSB qualifications held, plus 10% vacation/holiday pay, and $5.50/hour pension contributions. A comprehensive health and dental plan is available following the completion of 500 hours of work (as per the QCCC Collective Agreement). Emergency medical coverage will be provided if required until the 500 hours are worked and/or a provincial health card is obtained. Acuren will also provide a 12% living allowance to those who reside in Fort McMurray.

    Education and Skills Requirements:
    • Successful applicants will possess PCN or CSWIP Phased Array certification;
    • Minimum five years of advanced ultrasonic Phased Array practical experience;
    • Proficiency in report writing;
    • Thorough understanding of, and compliance with, safety and quality principles;
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
    • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment,
    • Valid driver’s license and the flexibility to travel on the job
    • Additional CGSB or equivalent NDT certifications would be highly desirable.
    Benefits
    Relocation support of up to $10000 is available with the submission of receipts to support the movement of personnel to the required work locations.
