    Wage: $42.95 to $45.00 per hour. Medical Blue Cross Coverage (includes Prescription Drugs, Dental, Vision, Travel)

    Transportation/Travel Information: This is an onboard aircraft position in general aviation aircraft. Regular flying is required.


    Languages: English

    • Completion of Secondary School
    • Graduation from certified flying or aviation school

    Experience: 3 to 5 years Experience

    Additional Qualifications and Experience:
    • Commercial Pilot’s License with a valid Class 1 Medical
    • Experience on aircraft type: Cessna TU206
    • 3000 hours Pilot in Command Time
    • 5000 hours Total Time
    • Experience as single pilot/sensor operator is essential

    Pilot Specific Skills
    • Responsible for safe operation of the aircraft as pilot in command
    • Operation of the flight management system, GPS/IMU logging and Vexcel digital camera, oblique camera systems and lidar
    • Maintain cleanliness of aircraft and survey equipment
    • Prepare aircraft and equipment for the type of sensor installed
    • Flight Planning and project logistics
    • Liaison with ATC to secure access to airspace and other agencies
    • Review survey weather forecasts
    • Prepare flight evaluation reports
    • Conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met
    • Maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions
    • Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions and other information
    • Conduct in-flight tests and monitor functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights
    • Image processing and manipulation
    • Install and un-install a variety of different censors
    • Operate and set-up GPS base stations for specific projects
